San Fernando, Pampanga and Angeles, Pampanga Last February 12, I yet again traveled farther north (the drive going there is always fun for me because of the sceneries and great roads, NLEX at least) with my family to attend the 17th Philippine Hot Air Balloon Festival subtitled “A Weekend of Everything that Flies.” Needless to say, it was awesome! I may not have had the chance to ride one but I had a delightful time seeing all those balloons, colorful kites, airplane exhibitions, parachutes and so on. Although the festival was in Angeles, we stayed at that cute and cozy hotel (see 1st 2 photos) in San Fernando, which is about 30 minutes away from Angeles, because all inns nearby are fully booked for the event. But anyway, I liked staying at Hotel Gracelane. The staff are nice, the place is full of greens, is simple and the rooms are clean. Plus, they have free Wi-fi. :) |

Falls Church, Virginia We always pass by this pub on our way home from my aunt’s work and I am just attracted to it. I don’t know but red-brick infrastructures really lure me in. (Plus the logo..and the lights) :) |

Pittsburgh, PA So…we were trying to stalk Emma Watson in Pittsburgh. ;p And while we were driving around to different possible locations (which were no good, btw.) didn’t see her. boo. I was at a picture taking spree, had my window open and just shot away. This is one of my favorites. :) |

Manhattan Bridge, New York City, NY I love how they constructed a bridge not only to connect distances but also to aesthetically please human eyes. |

Mount Vernon, Alexandria, Virginia I personally like this photo. It has a sense of solitude and warmth and being one with nature. |

Springfield, Virginia I was early for my photography class. So I decided to roam around the school and took this. :) These school buses always catch my attention because in the Philippines, we do not have identical school “buses” (they’re more like vans), let alone free school transportation. |

Herndon, Virginia I am not really sure what the purpose of this wooden fence is because it does not really separate 2 areas. It is also not even long enough to, say, prevent children from going beyond the sidewalk. It just stands right there beside the street. But oh well, that’s what caught my attention anyway. :) |

Arlington, Virginia Amongst a quite busy town, cars rallying along the streets and busy people working inside their usual 4-corner cubicles, as I was walking leisurely back to my aunt’s office, I saw this piece of solitary haven and I was just awed. I mean, I literally said “wow” when I laid my eyes upon this creek (or river?…body of water. lol) and stared at it, stood close to it, and just listened to the flow of the water. And well, of course, took pictures of it- this being one. I love nature…and the relaxing feeling it brings. :) |

Newport, Rhode Island This is one of the mansions preserved in Newport- The Breakers Mansion. This was owned by the Vanderbilt family and used it as their summer cottage during the 1800’s. Ornaments inside the house are made with gold and marble. It was stunning! Taking pictures inside the mansion is prohibited though. |
