Oh, the places that I go.

I am Dindin San Juan, 21 years young, Filipino, wanderer and aspiring world explorer. I pretty much take pictures of everything, wherever I go and so this blog will take you to those places too, the way I see them. :)
Ask me anything  Why did I start this blog?

+ Providence, Rhode Island
This is taken at Rhode Island School of Design Museum and that structure in the middle of the picture is a sculpture named “Morning Star.” Unfortunately, I forgot who made it. But anyway, I was at the other side of the hall and this piece just shone at the opposite side, because of the sunlight rushing through the windows behind it and the fact that it was at the center of the passageway.

We saw this really cool structure while walking to Brown University. A plaque below the entrance’s right corner said “Fleur-De-Lys Studio” but did not specify what kind of studio it is. But most probably an art studio because of the engravings and paintings at the top of the building. It instantly caught our eyes because of its vibrant color. It actually is the most alive building in that lane. Ironically, it’s already defunct.

I would say that Providence is a combination of New York and Boston. The former because of the red brick buildings and the short distance shops and pubs; the latter because of the universities in there (Brown and Rhode Island School of Design) and because of the way people dress, pretty much like people in the Harvard part of Boston. haha! It was like looking at a fashion magazine, watching the students walk along the streets. :) This picture is of a part of the Carrie Tower (a really tall structure with a clock at the top) and Van Wickle Gates (which are these really cool beautifully embellished gates at one corner of the Brown University Campus) in Brown.
